  Our wedding cake fell apart before we could cut and serve it. It was delicious, but a total mess. We asked for a partial refund due to the poor construction/handling of the cake, Chris refused. She became defensive and refused to compensate us with even a penny. I would never recommend Chris's Confections due to the extremely poor customer service that we recieved.

  I had a similarly bad experience with Chris as the last reviewer. At first she seemed so nice and helpful, but once the contract was signed she was rude, rude, rude!! Every time I called, it became more clear that she was only interested in getting paid -- she could not care less if you had questions, concerns, etc. This was by far the worst experience I had with any wedding vendor, most, in fact, were great. If I had to do it all over again, she is the only vendor I would not have used.

  Chris made a retirement cake with a edible photo of the retiree on the cake. She told me if any bubbles come up I should be able to carefully smooth them out. Well, I apparently wasn't careful enough because where once was the retiree's eye was white frosting!!!! I called Chris to see how I could fix it and she brought a whole new photo to me and fixed the cake just in time for the presentation! I can't imagine better customer service than that! It was a carrot cake and everyone raved about how delicious it was - I thought so too and would recommend the cake and highly recommend Chris - she did a great job on the decorating and is a very pleasant and helpful person - she went way out of her way to make this cake special. Thanks Chris!
